Shipping, Drayage and Material Handling

Important Information Regarding Shipments

Direct Shipments:
  • All direct shipments must be checked into the Marshaling Yard by 2:30 PM for dispatch to the unloading area, with the exception of Sundays as noted below.
  • Direct Shipments may begin arriving at Exhibit Site after 8:00 AM.
  • Reference Target Floor Plan – located in the Target Plan section of the Exhibitor Manual.
  • Please use proper labels, which can be found HERE.

Move In:
  • Sunday, May 31 Driver Check-In will be from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. The Marshaling Yard will not operate.
  • Drivers should report directly to the Los Angeles Convention Center.
  • Monday, June 1 – Saturday, June 6 Driver Check-In will be from 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Sunday, June 7 The Marshaling Yard will not operate.
  • Drivers should report directly to the Los Angeles Convention Center.
  • Monday, June 8 Driver Check-In will be from 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Move Out:
  • Thursday, June 11 Driver Check-In will be from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
  • Friday, June 12 – Sunday, June 14 Driver Check-In will be from 6:00 AM – 12 Noon.
  • Sunday, June 14 The Marshaling Yard will not operate. Drivers Check-In will be from 6:00 am - 12 Noon.
  • Drivers should report directly to the Los Angeles Convention Center.
  • Monday, June 15 Driver Check-In will be from 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM, for carriers picking up Lighting/Truss/Rigging Properties.

Outbound Shipments:
  • All outbound materials require a GES Bill-of-Lading (BOL) for each shipment (separate destination/carrier).
  • Carriers will be dispatched to the Los Angeles Convention Center after you have turned in your GES BOL and your driver has checked in at the Marshaling Yard.
  • Drivers will be dispatched as dock space is available to load out your shipment.

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Closed 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM & Holidays.

***The GES Advanced Warehouse will be CLOSED on Monday, May 27, 2019 in observance of Memorial Day***

Please refer to the GES Warehouse Closure Calendar for official closure dates.

Please Note: Shipments arriving before Tuesday, April 28, 2020 will incur a storage fee, and shipments arriving after Wednesday, May 27, 2020 will incur a Late to Warehouse Fee.
