Marshaling Instructions

MARSHALING YARD - All POV must check in at the GES Marshaling Yard on Ivan Allen Blvd, near Georgia World Congress Center. Directions to Marshaling Yard (click link below):

SELF UNLOADING/LOADING POV - Automobiles, station wagons, panel vans, etc., that do not require freight dock access will be given directions and promptly dispatched to a specific POV access point serving their exhibit area.

Exhibit materials must be promptly unloaded and the vehicle moved to one of the numerous public parking lots in the area. GES material handling personnel will be available at each access point to assist unloading/loading as required (see material handling ordering for rates for this service.)

DUE TO INCREASED SECURITY MEASURES, SOMEONE MUST REMAIN WITH THE VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES DURING UNLOADING/RELOADING. ITEMS MUST BE UNLOADED ON THE RAMP AND TAKEN PROMPTLY TO THE BOOTH AND THE VEHICLE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY FROM THE AREA TO A PARKING LOT. VEHICLES LEFT UNATTENDED AT THE POV ACCESS POINT OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE DOCK AND/OR DOCK ACCESS AREA WILL BE PROMPTLY TOWED AT THE OPERATOR'S OR OWNER'S EXPENSE.

POV REQUIRING DOCK OR FLOOR ACCESS - POV, including company truck, flatbeds, tractor/trailers, etc., that must be unloaded at a dock or on the floor of the exhibit hall will be assigned a truck number and will be marshalled with regular for-hire freight carriers. This POV will require certified weight tickets. They will move to the dock/floor as space comes available on a first-come, first-serve by freight operating zone basis. These shipments are subject to Marshaling yard fees and applicable material handling rates.

MARSHALING YARD HOURS OF OPERATION - The Marshaling yard will be open from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM during move-in and move-out periods.
