Empty Crate Storage Information:
Due to the volume of crates located at IWF and the limitations of available indoor storage capacity, GES will utilize outdoor storage for empty crates. As a result, crates designated for empty storage may be subject to exposure to environmental conditions typical of the Atlanta area, including but not limited to excessive heat, wind and rain. Accordingly, customers are expressly advised not to store any valuable, sensitive, or damage‑prone items within crates labeled for empty storage, as GES shall not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from such exposure.

Oversized Skids and Crates
Please be advised that all oversized skids and crates must be clearly labeled with a color‑coded PVC empty storage tag provided by GES. Such tags are available from a GES Freight Supervisor upon request. Oversized skids and crates will be stored outdoors and, accordingly, will be subject to the same environmental conditions described above in the Empty Crate Storage section, including, but not limited to, excessive heat, wind, and rain.
Customers should further note that, due to the volume of empty crates present at IWF, oversized skids and crates will not be returned to exhibitor booths on the night of the show close. Return of oversized items will be governed by the applicable tag color and, in most cases, will occur on the evening before the exhibitor’s scheduled move‑out date, but not sooner without prior arrangements.
