Perishable Product Shipping, Storage and Handling

Shipping Perishable/Floral Product to the Show

  • No produce or floral material will be received at the advance warehouse. Product and floral deliveries will only be accepted at the published cold storage receiving location. Delivery of perishable products must be made c/o GES at the hall and will be accepted beginning October 11, 2026 at 8:00 am. Your company name and booth number must be clearly marked on each container; each shipment must be manifested on a bill of lading or receipt indicating number of pieces, cubic feet, and total weight. We highly recommend you use the Color-Coded Refrigerated Storage Delivery Labels provided. Important Note: Exhibitors should not ship refrigerated or frozen product, or booth display materials on the same pallet! Labor charges will be applicable.
  • Refrigerated, Frozen and/or Dry Storage CANNOT be received at the advanced warehouse.
  • All inbound carriers must check in by 2:00 PM to be guaranteed same day unloading. Loading docks become busy and cannot always accommodate late afternoon arrivals due to heavy congestion.

Storage of Refrigerated/Frozen Product at the Show

  • The product material handling charge of $1.09 per lb. is for products in frozen or refrigerated storage and includes delivery of the product to/from storage and to your booth one time per day. Deliveries will take place before and after show hours. You do not need to schedule labor or equipment for these deliveries.
  • Storage space may be limited. Twenty-four hour watchman service will be provided. However, all goods stored with us are stored at your own risk. Neither GES nor IFPA will be liable for any injury, damage, loss, theft, or destruction, including but not by way of limitation, damage by atmospheric conditions or rust, negligence (whether caused by ourselves or by our servants, agents, employees, or others), failures to act, breach of contract, breach or warranty, water condensation, fires, floods, acts of God, or direct consequential, or incidental damages, not for loss of profit or loss due to failures to obtain or turn-over goods at any particular time or place whatsoever; however, such loss may be incurred. We are not liable for or chargeable with any loss of sales, income, resales, commissions, or brokerage, nor for any freight or demurrage.
  • Storage of refrigerated and /or frozen product is NOT available after 12:00 pm, Friday, October 16. If you have product that you intend to ship back, you must have a GES Outbound material handling Form (Bill of Lading) turned in at the GES Exhibitor Success Central by 10:00 am, Friday, October 16. Otherwise, any product left in the refrigerator/freezer trailers AFTER 12:00 pm, Friday, October 16 will be donated.
  • All cold storage must be packed, Outbound Material Handling Order Forms (Bill of Lading) turned in with "Refrigerated or Frozen" clearly indicated next to the carrier name, and pick-up carriers checked in no later than 10:00 am, Friday, October 16.
