Ordering Tips

• Machinery Rates are discounted rates and no other discounts apply.
• This service is for crated, skidded machinery only.
• Machinery should only be shipped direct to the show site address. Machinery will not be accepted to the Advanced Shipment Warehouse.
• Machinery must be clearly identified on the Bill of Lading (BOL) to qualify for these rates.

Important Information

• Certified weight tickets are required for all shipments. When shipping a mixed load, separate weight tickets are required to distinguish between skidded machinery and exhibit materials. Mixed load shipments without separate weight ticket do not qualify for the skidded machinery rates and will be invoiced at the regular material handling rate. Adjustments to invoices will not be made. Drivers with inbound shipments must check in at the exhibit site by 2:00 pm to be guaranteed same day unloading.


• All exhibitors displaying machinery over (3,000 lbs) must contact GES Freight Operations staff Kelly Clove (Cell: 702-591-2506) or JT Hannon (Cell: 407-509-1251) for machinery move-in date/time.

Machinery Handling Rates

• All other freight must use the standard Material Handling rates as listed on Shipping/Material Handling Services.
• When calculating freight charges, machinery cannot be included with regular freight, i.e. cartons, fiber cases, and crated exhibits.
• Shipments of mixed machinery and/or display will be charged at the display rate unless separate weight breakdowns are provided and goods are separated on truck.
• Skidded machinery is machinery on a skid or a machine on its own skid which can be picked and lifted by a GES forklift with no rigging equipment required.

Surcharges

• This is a targeted move-in show - see Exhibitor Target Move-In and Move-Out Schedule.
• Measure of Damage: If found liable for any loss, GES' sole and exclusive maximum liability for loss or damage to Customer's Goods is limited to $.50 (USD) per pound with a maximum liability of $100 (USD) per container, or $1,500.00 (USD) per shipment, whichever is less.
• Rates are based on per lb per truckload.
