Refrigerated and Frozen Storage

Ordering Tips
  • Order Storage no later than 9/19/25.
  • Please order deliveries from storage as needed. If a forklift is required for delivery please order separately.
  • Material Handling rates apply to all shipments arriving at McCormick Place including shipments consigned to refrigerated & frozen storage. See Material Handling order form for rate schedule.
  • Please send Refrigerated/Frozen shipments to the direct/showsite address. It is very important to use the special labels. This ensures perishable items are delivered to the trailers for cold storage when they arrive. Please specify your Booth Number and Service Required.
  • Shipments should arrive no earlier than 10/24/25, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
  • Target dates do not apply to Refrigerated & Frozen Storage.
  • An authorized company representative must be present at the time of delivery to your booth to inventory the items and to sign for receipt of items. Delivery hours may be restricted, check with the representatives at the cold storage desk. An advance deposit is required to guarantee storage reservations.
Step 1. Order Storage and Schedule Deliveries
  • Minimum of 1 Skid per day. One skid is equivalent to 4' wide, 4' deep and up to 6' tall. Storage charges begin on the day the shipment is received. Labor for delivery is not included.
  • Please confirm delivery arrangements stored material is required at the storage control center at the loading docks.
  • A work order must be placed at the storage control center each time material is moved to or from storage. The work order must be signed by a representative of the Exhibitor when delivery is made.
  • During show days, with the massive congestion in the aisles, it will take an additional amount of time for deliveries and it will be necessary to use a minimum of two laborers.
  • An advance deposit of $946.25 is required with your storage order to guarantee storage reservations. The deposit will not be refunded if storage reservation is cancelled less than two (2) weeks prior to the show.
Step 2. Order Labor for Deliveries
  • Laborers to deliver material to and from storage.
  • Minimum charge is half (1/2) hour per man (2 person crew) per delivery. Additional charges will apply for equipment used (forklift, pallet jack and scooter).
  • During Show days, with the massive congestion in the aisles, it will take an additional amount of time for deliveries and it will be necessary to use a minimum of two laborers.
