Important Freight Return Information

If your freight is at the advance warehouse prior to arranging carrier pick-up, access the electronic Material Handling form fill it out, scan, and email it to:

Show Name- Booth Number- Company Name- Exhibiting Name

If you pre-booked outbound transportation with GES Logistics, GES will handle your Material Handling form and the shipment of your freight. If you need assistance with your outbound shipping click here to get a quote, or if you are still on show site, please visit GES Exhibitor Services and we can assist you with your shipping needs.

If you have arranged your own shipping, please notify your carrier that it can check-in to the GES Warehouse, 4108 W. 52nd Street, Chicago, IL 60632 after 8:00 am on March 18th. GES Warehouse hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 2:30 pm. If all items have not been picked up by Friday, April 10th, freight will be sent to offsite storage and applicable fees will apply.

Freight en-route to the GES Warehouse, but not received, will not be accepted to avoid you having to schedule later pickup dates.

Shipments should arrive on or between business days:
  • Friday, February 28, 2020 - Friday, March 27, 2020

Warehouse receiving hours are:
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM; Closed 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM & Holidays.

Please refer to the GES Warehouse Closure Calendar for official closure dates.

*All inbound carriers must check into the warehouse by 2:00 PM to be guaranteed same day unloading. Loading docks become busy and cannot always accommodate late afternoon arrivals due to heavy congestion.

Please Note: Shipments arriving before Friday, February 28, 2020 will incur a storage fee, and shipments arriving after Friday, March 27, 2020 will incur a Late to Warehouse Fee.

Direct to show site shipments will not be accepted at the Hilton Chicago:

All exhibit materials must be sent in advance to the GES warehouse. Direct to exhibit site shipments will not be accepted at the Hilton Chicago. The Hilton Chicago does not have the capabilities to receive nor does it have adequate storage space for Exhibitor materials. Any materials shipped to the Hilton Chicago will be consigned to GES and the exhibiting company will be billed the appropriate material handling charges by GES. Exhibitors may also be billed an additional receiving charge by the Hilton Chicago for any items sent directly to the venue. For shipments inadvertently delivered directly to the facility, a late arrival surcharge will apply to each shipment not received within the deadlines.

In addition, carriers must be directed to pick up outbound shipments at the GES warehouse. Shipments that are loaded at the facility will be charged a 30% surcharge.
