What is Material Handling?

The unloading of your shipment, transporting it to your booth, storing and returning your empty crates and cartons and reloading your shipment at the close of the show (also called Drayage). This service is not included in the cost of your booth space. Avoid unexpected costs at show site and pre-order this service below. Shipping/Logistics costs are separate and are not included in Material Handling rates.

* Standby Labor (Stewards/Dock/Traffic) are billable prior to 6:00 AM, January 30, 2020 and after 11:59 PM, February 19, 2020. Within this timeframe, Standby Labor is billable outside of the normal working hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

* Steel, iron and motorized equipment must be unloaded by a Rigging Crew. For these rates see Forklift Labor.

* Empty crate removal is included, providing your crates can be rolled out without the use of equipment. If your crates need to be delivered prior to the break of show, or equipment to move them into storage, you will be charged Labor and Equipment.

An additional charge of $7.10 per hour will apply if a 4 stage: 5,000# forklift is required.

An additional charge of $22.55 will apply if a 15,000# composite forklift is required.

Straight Time: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Break of Show – On Monday, February 17, 2020, Straight Time labor rates will apply until 10:00 PM. Overtime labor rates will apply from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Overtime: Monday through Friday from 4:30 PM to 12:00 AM. All day Saturday.
Double Time: All other times Monday through Friday. All day Sunday & Holidays.

Straight Time, Overtime and Double Time Labor Invoicing will be in compliance per MPEA Legislation.
