About the Optional Square Foot Freight Package Plan GES has developed an Optional Square Foot Freight Package Plan for exhibiting.

Benefits of the Program include:
  • No Outbound Overtime (this applies to all exhibitors with outbound overtime and will automatically be applied – no additional action needed from you)
  • Exhibitors now have two options to choose from for their material handling. Exhibitors must opt into this program by the discount deadline date of Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in order to receive:

    • Optional Package Plan - $2.70 per sq.ft.

      The optional material handling package benefits include:
      • Cost certainty
      • Unlimited crated material handling shipped Direct to showsite
      • Bring more for less!

      Included at cost of $2.70 per square foot
      • Unlimited Direct Crated material handling. Ship as much as you want!
      • Removal, storage and return of empties
      • Reloading of material on outbound vehicles
      • Overtime move-out
      • The fee will cover all direct to showsite unloading and loading of shipments on a round trip basis
      • Warehouse shipments will incur a $15.85 surcharge per CWT.
      • Does not include: Machinery handling, special handling, uncrated shipments, OT inbound and off target surcharges

Direct to showsite cost calculation:

NSF of booth space X $2.70 Total cost


Advance Warehouse cost calculation spreadsheet:

NSF of booth space X $2.70 (Pounds of freight / 100 = Total CWT) x $15.85) = Total cost
EXAMPLE: Exhibitor’s booth 20’ x 20’ = 400 NSF and the exhibiting company ships 500 lbs to the warehouse.
Warehouse cost: 400 NSF X $2.70 = $1,080.00 + ((500lbs / 100 = 5 CWT) X $15.85) = Total Cost $1,159.25
