Certificate of Insurance for EACs

In order for any Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) to provide any services at this show, the EAC must use the link below to submit a valid certificate of insurance 30 days prior to show start. It should be prepared by an insurance agent and include the following data:

  1. PRODUCER: Insurance Agent / Broker who issues certificate.
  2. NAME OF INSURED: Must be the legal name of contracting party.
  3. TYPES OF INSURANCE: Must include types required by contract.
  4. FORM OF COVERAGE: Must be "occurrence" form of coverage.
  5. DESCRIPTION OF OPERATIONS/LOCATIONS/VEHICLES/EXCLUSIONS ADDED BY ENDORSEMENT/SPECIAL PROVISIONS: HAI, the HAI Foundation, the State of Georgia (including the State Tort Claims Fund and other State established Liability Funds), the GWCC Authority, GES, and any other necessary party/parties required by HAI Show Management and their respective officials, officers, directors, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, employees, representatives, contractors, and consultants are named as additional insureds under all liability policies for the entire duration of (license period: February 27, 2023 through March 11, 2023 local time.). A waiver of subrogation is included under all liability policies.
  6. All coverage is primary and non-contributory, written on an occurrence basis, and issued by a company authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia.

  8. POLICY EFFECTIVE DATE: Must be prior to or coincidental with the first day of Exhibitor Move-In.
  9. POLICY EXPIRATION DATE: Must be on or after the last day of Exhibitor Move-Out.
  10. LIMITS OF INSURANCE: Must be the same or greater than required by contract.
    • Commercial General Liability Insurance covering all operations by or on behalf of the EAC with a limit of at least one million U.S. dollars ($1,000,000) per person and three million U.S. dollars ($3,000,000) per occurrence. The policy shall include coverage for Bodily Injury (including death), Broad Form Property Damage, and liabilities arising out of Premises, Operations, Independent Contractors, Products/Completed Operations, Personal & Advertising Injury, and Contractual Liability. The policy shall also include Damage to Rented Premises and Fire Legal Liability.
    • Comprehensive Automobile Liability Insurance covering owned, hired, and non-owned vehicles with a minimum combined bodily injury (including death) and property damage limit of one million U.S. dollars ($1,000,000) per accident. Such insurance shall include coverage for loading and unloading hazards.
    • Workers’ Compensation Insurance, in the amount required by law, covering all the EAC’s employees and agents (EAC shall require all contractors to also obtain Workers’ Compensation Insurance as required by law); (b) Employers’ Liability Insurance with limits of at least one million U.S. dollars ($1,000,000) for any one accident, one million U.S. dollars ($1,000,000) for disease each employee, and one million U.S. dollars ($1,000,000) disease limit.
    • Umbrella or Excess Liability Insurance of at least one million U.S. dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence and one million U.S. dollars ($1,000,000) annual aggregate covering all General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Employer’s Liability policies. The policy shall be on a following form basis with respect to all underlying coverages. The EAC is responsible for payment of any retention or deductible.
      All coverage specified above shall be on a primary and non-contributory basis; and each insurance policy shall be issued by a carrier authorized in the State of Georgia and acceptable to HAI and the GWCC Authority.
  11. AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE: Must be signed (not stamped) by an authorized representative of Producer.
