In-Booth Forklift Services

In-Booth Forklift service may be required to assemble displays or when uncrating, positioning, and reskidding equipment and machinery. This service is required for placing equipment and materials weighing 200lbs. or more. Service includes a GES supplied forklift & operator. Allow a minimum charge of two (2) hours for set-up and two (2) hours for tear-down for a single order outside of regular time.

Service Schedule

GES In-Booth Forklift service is available during install & dismantle of the show and is classified in to three categories - straight time, overtime and double-time. These are defined as:

Straight Time: Weekdays from 8:00am - 4:00pm
Overtime: Weekdays from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Weekends from 8:00am - 4:00pm
Double-Time: Weekdays after 6:00pm. Weekends after 4:00pm. All Holidays.

Rates are charged per forklift/driver at a minimum of one (1) hour (for regular time) or two (2) hours (for double and overtime). Further time is charged in 1/2 hour increments per forklift.
We understand that your calculation is only an estimate. Invoicing will be based on actual time & labour incurred. Adjustments will be made accordingly.

Please note: There is a 30% surcharge applied to orders placed on-site.

An exhibitor must check forklift / driver in and out at the GES Service Centre.

Pricing is listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).
100% Refund Guarantee: Customer may cancel any orders for GES products and services made under GES Standard Terms and Conditions for any reason, provided written notice of cancellation is received by GES no less than seven (7) days prior to the first day of Move-In. If Customer has made any payment to GES for the orders, GES will refund 100% of such payment less the portion of such payment for services already performed by GES such as, but not limited to, custom cut carpet, special furniture, material handling, rigging, labor, electrical services or graphics.
Exhibitor must check-in at the GES Service Centre to meet their team & begin the forklift call.
Rates are charged per forklift/driver at a minimum of one (1) hour (for straight time) or two (2) hours (for double and overtime). Calls over minimum charge is charged in 1/2 hour (30 minute) increments.
Any multiple lift order needs to be pre-approved by the convention centre’s security agent.
Uncancelled forklift / labour will be charged a minimum fee of one (1) hour per person/forklift.
GES reserves the right to change labourers and/or rates as shifts change.
A surcharge will be applied to orders placed on-site.
Gratuities in any form, including but not limited to, cash, gifts or payment for work not actually performed, are prohibited by GES.
All claims or discrepancies must be settled within one week of show closing.
