Please refer to the Target Move-In Floor Plan for when your shipment should arrive, and when you can begin installation.

Moving into any exposition can be tricky. There are a lot of moving parts and things to remember. Below is key information you need to know for moving into Natural Products Expo East 2021.

Advance Shipping:
  • Ship your booth materials (non-perishable items only) in advance to the GES Advance Warehouse (arrival deadlines apply). The Warehouse address and deadlines can be found here. This allows you to confirm your freight has arrived well before move-in starts. Your booth materials will be delivered to your booth the day before your installation date.
  • Print Advance Shipping Labels. Remove all old labels from your crates and cartons.
  • Material Handling charges will apply and can be estimated on the Material Handling section.
Direct Shipping:
  • Ship your booth materials via a freight carrier directly to show site. The show site address and arrival deadlines can be found here. NOTE - Your carrier will have to arrive at show site at the date and timeframe listed. Failure to do so could result in refused freight and additional material handling charges.
  • Print Direct Shipping labels. Remove all old labels from your crates and cartons.
  • Material Handling charges will apply and can be estimated on the Material Handling section.
DRY, REFRIGERATED & FROZEN FREIGHT MOVE-IN

All perishable, refrigerated & frozen products must be shipped Direct between:
Sep 20 – Sep 22, 2021
Mon-Weds 8:00 am – 3:30pm

  • Instructions for Refrigerated, Frozen & Perishable Shipping, Storage & Delivery as well as shipping labels, labor and delivery order forms can be found by CLICKING HERE. Any refrigerated & frozen product shipped to the Advanced Warehouse will be refused and rerouted at the Exhibitors Expense.
  • Certified weights are required for all shipments.
  • Complete the Refrigerated &Frozen Storage Order Forms for storage and delivery to your booth by CLICKING HERE

  • Order Refrigerated & Frozen Storage Labor & Delivery

  • Cold product will be accessible onsite beginning Wednesday evening.
Cartload/Hand Carry/Privately Owned Vehicle (POV) UNLOADING DATES &TIMES:
Monday SEPT. 20 – Wednesday Sept 22 - 8:00AM – 3:30pm

Hand Carry Items:
You can hand-carry your own materials into the exhibit hall provided you do not use material handling equipment to assist you. Use of hand carts, 2 wheeled dolly, or any four-wheel cart or dolly is prohibited. Hand-carry materials may only be brought in through Hall F if one (1) person can carry the item unassisted. You may not leave your car unattended at any time.
  • Parking information at the PCC can be found here.
  • You must move-in during regular installation dates and hours (See target floorplan).
  • You must abide by the Union rules. Please refer to the Show site Work Rules under the Regulations and Guidelines tab.
Hand Carry to Move-In & Move-Out
ONLY Privately Owned Vehicles may use Hand Carry – 100lbs max.
  • Move-in may happen at/or after the targeted Installation Start Time & Date.
  • An exhibitor can Hand Carry materials to the booth, provided material handling equipment is NOT used to assist moving a maximum of 100lbs of freight. Use of hand carts, two-wheeled dollies, or any four-wheel cart or dolly is prohibited. Access to the loading dock or freight areas is not permitted.
  • Cars may not be left unattended at any time. There must be two (2) people with the vehicle; one person to go with the product to the booth space and one person to remove the vehicle. Items unloaded curb side cannot be left unattended. There will be a maximum 15-minutes to unload in the designated areas and any unattended vehicles will be towed away at the exhibitor’s expense.
  • Privately Owned Vehicle must be performed by a full-time employee of the exhibiting company and could be asked by the Union for proof of employment (paystub/benefits documentation).
  • The use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, lift gates or any other mechanical equipment is NOT permitted by anyone other than GES employees.

Privately Owned Vehicles
ONLY Privately Owned Vehicles are allowed to order cartload service or use hand carry to unload their vehicles.
  • A POV, or privately owned vehicle, is considered to be any vehicle that is primarily designed to transport passengers, not cargo or freight. Please note that these vehicles cannot have any branding and/or company logos on them to be considered a POV.
  • Examples of POVs: Passenger vehicles under 1 ton: Small pickup trucks, passenger vans, taxis, limos, Uber, Lyft, Cars, etc.

NOT Privately Owned Vehicles (POV)
You are not a POV if you are one of the vehicle types listed below and must go directly to the Marshaling Yard before unloading.
  • Company Vehicles of any kind, trailers, moving vans, U-Hauls, Cargo Vans, vehicle with a lift gate, materials on skids/pallets, crates, anything requiring freight moving equipment.

Cartload Service for Move-In & Move-Out
To use Cartload Service:
  • Must have 2 people
  • vMust have “loose” product (not palletized/crated)
  • Total weight of items must be less than 600lbs? (Cartloads that exceed 600lbs will be charged at standard Material Handing rates.)
  • Vehicle must be “acceptable” as shown above

Exhibitors must check into the POV staging area first and will be given a colored window pass. Depending on self-unload or cartload service, exhibitors will be given directions and dispatched to the PACC.

Show Site Contact Form
To focus on the health and safety of exhibitors and GES team members, we have created a contactless and paperless show site experience for you using email and text messaging. Submit this form with the show site contact cell phone number and email address so we can communicate with you effectively.

In an effort to expediate the Move-out process and utilize contactless services at the close of show, Exhibitors are encouraged to authorize credit-card payment prior to Move-in.

In preparation for Move-out, Pre-Print address labels before you arrive at show-site.

Ship to Show
Confirm dates and times when shipments should arrive to the Advance Warehouse or Direct to Exhibit Site. For many shows GES offers the opportunity to ship items to the advance warehouse, a location near or at the tradeshow facility. Storing items up to 30 days before the show ensures items are safely stored and delivered on-time to the show floor.
