To assist you in planning your participation in your show, we are certain you will appreciate knowing in advance that union labor will be required for certain aspects of your exhibit handling.

Standing on chairs, tables or other rental furniture is prohibited. Rental furniture is not made to support standing weight, and we cannot be responsible for injuries or falls caused by the improper use of furniture. If assistance is required to assemble your exhibit, see a Customer Service Representative at the Exhibitor Service Desk, or the enclosed Display Labor Service order form.

To assist you in preparing for your show, we would like to share with you some information regarding the jurisdiction of the union. Currently, we have an agreement with the Stagehand Local 31 to provide labor for display installation and dismantle. Full time employees of exhibiting companies may set their own displays without assistance from the Stagehand Union.

Currently, we have a labor agreement with Teamsters Local 41. Exhibitors may deliver their own materials into the exhibit facilities; however, the use or rental of contractor-owned dollies, flat trucks or other mechanical equipment is not permitted. The contractor must control access to the loading docks in order to provide for a safe and orderly move-in/out. Charges for material handling services are reflected on the enclosed Shipping Information and Freight Service order form.

It is understood that the contractor is not an insurer, and that insurance, if any, should be obtained by the exhibitor. Please refer to the enclosed Limits of Liabilities form.

Our work rules prohibit the solicitation or acceptance of tips in cash, product or gifts in kind by any employee (union or non-union). Our employees are paid appropriate wages denoting professional status, therefore tipping of any kind is not allowed.

Customer acknowledges that the show site and surrounding areas are active work zones. Customer, its agents, employees and representatives are present at their own risk.
