The recent outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) is of great concern to our industries. Higher levels of biosecurity will be in place to prevent the introduction or spread of this virus and potentially other harmful diseases into our industries. Research has demonstrated that the ASF virus can survive in some feed ingredients if contaminated. For that reason, IPPE will prohibit the display of bulk or packaged samples of feed ingredients or additives that are manufactured in or originated from any countries positive for ASF. Please take advantage of the biosecurity measures that will be utilized during the IPPE, including foot cleaning mats and hand washing facilities.
