Equipment and labor cancelled without a 24 hour notice shall be charged a one (1) hour cancellation fee for worker(s) and equipment. The minimum charge for labor is one (1) hour per worker and equipment. Thereafter, labor is charged in one (1) hour increments per worker and equipment.

Does your High Lift require Electrical Labor?
  • Does your sign weigh over 300lbs?
  • Does your sign have a rotator?
  • Does your sign have any electrical components?
If you answer "yes" to any of these questions, your sign is electrical and will need to select Labor and Materials Elec as your labor type. Any sign weighing over 300lbs must be installed by electricians and will require a hoist motor. Be sure to order electrical power for your sign.

Do you require Electrical or Plumbing?
Exhibitors requiring electrical or plumbing installation labor will automatically be charged a dismantle fee. Dismantle labor is charged at 50% of installation labor based on show close/move-out days/time (overtime rates may apply) with a minimum of 1 hour on dismantle for all equipment, and does not need to be scheduled. If electricians are required in the booth at a specific time for dismantle, please notify the GES Electrical Service Desk at the show.

What is Exhibitor Supervision?

An exhibitor chooses Exhibitor Supervised so they are able to instruct the laborer in person. The exhibitor is required to be in the booth and there are no supervision fees. A scheduled date and time is necessary for this option.

What is GES Supervision?

An exhibitor chooses GES Supervised when they want the work completed prior to their assigned target date and time. This allows exhibitors to start their booth build at their assigned target date and time. On most shows and services, there is a minimum surcharge for the professional supervision. Remember, when an exhibitor chooses this option, they do not need to schedule a date and time for services to be completed.
