MACH 2020 will be in build between 14 April – 19 April but certain days are limited to certain activities or restricted by stand size; please check the event timetable carefully to find out when you will be permitted onsite.
It is imperative that all deadlines are met during the build-up; exhibits must arrive in good time for the allocated lift-in slots.
Access To Mach 2020
Please ensure your staff and contractors have the correct security passes and PPE or they will be denied entry.
Exhibitor Passes
All exhibitor staff must be wearing a CDM wristband in order to access the hall during build/break. Exhibitor badges will be needed to access the halls during open days during times that the halls are not open to the general public.
Register your staff for exhibitor badges through the Exhibitor Zone on the MACH Website for Exhibitor badges and on the Contractor Nomination and Wristband Form to request the CDM wristbands.
Contractor Passes:
Contractors will require a CDM wristband in order to gain entry during build-up and break-down.
Exhibitors will need to fill out the
Contractor Nomination and Wristband Form to request CDM wristbands for their contractors; the operations team will then send these direct to your contractors.
Vehicles:
- Those exhibitors allocated a lifting time or build time during the restricted access days will be issued with special access passes for vehicles delivering exhibits and for contractors / designers overseeing the lifting.
- Vehicles arriving during the general build period will be queued and released down to the halls by the traffic martials.
- On the final day the NEC will be running a deposit system – please refer to the Parking page for additional information.

During this time all exhibit power will remain live to allow for decommissioning and removal of oil from exhibits; the power will be turned off at 18:00 unless an extension is requested with the appointed electrical contractor - GES.
For obvious health and safety reasons, there will be no vehicle movement within the exhibition halls until 18:00 hours, or such time as it is safe to do so.
Machinery Lifting:
In order to complete the lifting within the break schedule exhibitors will be allocated a specific lifting slot: ALLOCATED LIFTING TIMES ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE, exhibitors must have transports ready for their allocated lifting slots and additional charges may be incurred by exhibitors who miss their assigned slots.
